The workshop included an interactive visioning and goal setting activity. Participants were asked to review the 2015 POCD goals and vision and let us know if they are still relevant. They were also asked to provide comments on what goals and vision they have for Brookfield through 2035. Participants posted stickers and comments on large poster boards. The purpose of this document is to provide a snapshot of Brookfield, as it is today. By gathering information about existing conditions in the Town, this document establishes a baseline from which to initiate conversations with the public and various stakeholders. Brookfield Today provides a history of the Town’s development, a description of its context in the region, summaries of key planning initiatives, an analysis of socio-demographic data, and an overview of existing land use and zoning.
